This web application provides a tool for “map algebra” by comparing two maps. Changing the settings of either Map 1 or Map 2 will automatically update the calculated map. The “Scale Min” and “Scale Max” settings on the calculated map represent the values of the parameter (e.g. temperature difference) that determine how the eight color scale (blue to red) is rendered. For example, a Scale Min of “-25” means that any values below -25 will be blue. A Scale Max of “25” will render all values greater than 25 red.
